Danielle Gearhart Interiors

Effective date: November 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Danielle Gearhart Interiors ("DGI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit daniellegearhart.com (the "Site") or contact us through it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information you give us

When you submit an inquiry through the contact form on our Site, we collect the information you choose to share, which may include:

  • Your name

  • Email address and phone number

  • Project location or address

  • Details about your home, project scope, timeline, and budget

  • Anything else you include in your message

You are never required to send us information, but we may not be able to respond to an inquiry without basic contact details.

If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to carry out and bill for your project, such as your billing address, project and property details, selections and purchase records, and payment information. Payments are processed through Houzz Pro, and we do not store full card or bank account numbers ourselves.

Information collected automatically

Our Site is hosted on Squarespace. Like most websites, it automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site that referred you. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies and is used in aggregate to understand how the Site is used and to keep it running securely.

Squarespace sets cookies that are necessary for the Site to function, as well as analytics cookies that help us see general traffic patterns. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do. For more on how Squarespace handles data, please see Squarespace's own privacy policy.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your general location, and the device and browser you use. We review this information in aggregate and do not use it to identify individual visitors. Google's use of this information is governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your information by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to these signals, the Site does not currently change its practices when it receives one.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations or discovery calls

  • Evaluate whether your project is a good fit and prepare proposals

  • Provide and manage design services if you become a client

  • Communicate with you about your project

  • Understand how visitors use the Site and improve it

  • Maintain records and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We will not add you to a marketing email list without your permission.

How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the business may store or process your information on our behalf. These include Squarespace (website hosting and forms), Houzz Pro (client and project management, proposals, client communication, invoicing, and payments), QuickBooks (accounting, which receives invoice and payment records from Houzz Pro), Canva (design presentations and project materials), and our email provider. Each of these companies handles information under its own privacy policy.

  • Project partners. If you become a client, we may share relevant project information (such as your name, address, and project details) with contractors, tradespeople, vendors, and installers as needed to carry out your project.

  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DGI, our clients, or others.

  • Business transfer. If DGI is ever sold or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Photographs of client homes

Project photography shown on the Site and our social media is published with our clients' agreement. We do not publish client names or home addresses without permission.

Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites and platforms, including Instagram and product sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

How we protect information

We use reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us at any time to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you

  • Correct information that is inaccurate

  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to any records we are required to keep

  • Opt out of any marketing emails

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the privacy laws of your state. We will respond to requests within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above.
