Design has been the pulse of Danielle’s life since she was a little girl decorating her bedroom with objects found and made. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with her degree in Fashion Business Management, Danielle became a home goods buyer on the Outer Banks. An innate talent for visual merchandising quickly found her assisting the Outer Banks’ most reputable interior designers.

With a contemporary perspective on coastal living and exacting standards for every detail, Danielle quickly outgrew her assistant title, founding Danielle Gearhart Interiors in 2022. Since then, she’s designed some of the Outer Banks most notable beach houses with her trademark warmth, thoughtful layering, and deeply personal touches. She views the home as a whole and collaboration as essential to bettering her craft.
